Polish university education system has a history of 650 years of educating high profile professionals.
According to the newest report of the Polish National Statistical Office, there are currently in Poland 24, 253 foreign students from 141 countries; that is four thousand more students than in the year 2011. s ranking there were only two Polish universities. Today, there are six of them. Similar tendencies can be noticed after the World University Rankings were published with four universities from Poland. The graduates of the Polish universities are famous scientists, medical doctors, writers and musicians. Graduates of Polish universities, well known in the world, among others, are: Pope John Paul II, Nicolas Copernicus, Maria Siemionow or Roman Polański.
PCEC – promotes Polish universities and their offer of studies amongst Canadians, – works to increase the number of Canadian students in Polish universities and in consequence to counteract the demographic decrease, – contributes to the universities international character, – promotes Poland, in particular, the cities which have academic centers – increases the awareness of the Polish Diaspora and Canadian youth on their chance to do university studies in Poland.
